Serving Whitney

How Whitney is served

Whitney borders Henderson, which puts the Horizon Ridge Parkway office on the same side of the valley and generally makes it the shorter drive. That office is reached off the 215 Beltway and carries its own AANEM-accredited electrodiagnostic laboratory rather than referring testing across to Las Vegas.

There is no office in Whitney itself. The practice operates two fully equipped sites in the valley, and each carries an AANEM-accredited electrodiagnostic laboratory, so wherever you attend the testing happens there rather than being referred on.

Local FAQs

Neurology for Whitney

Coverage, offices, testing and insurance.

Which office serves Whitney?
West Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson. Whitney borders Henderson directly, which puts that office on the same side of the valley and generally makes it the shorter drive. It is reached off the 215 Beltway.
Is Whitney in Henderson?
It borders Henderson but is an unincorporated town in Clark County rather than part of the city. For appointments the practical answer is simply that the Henderson office is the nearer of the two.
Does the Henderson office do its own testing?
Yes. It carries its own AANEM-accredited electrodiagnostic laboratory rather than referring testing across to Las Vegas, and it performs all six in-office studies. Nothing is sent between the two offices.
Can I use the Las Vegas office instead?
Yes, if its availability is better in a given week. Both hold the same records, so alternating between them restarts nothing and repeats no testing. Ambulatory EEG is the one study that needs both its visits at the same office.
What conditions do you manage?
Adult neurological conditions across the range: headache and migraine, epilepsy and seizures, peripheral neuropathy, memory change, Parkinson's disease and tremor, multiple sclerosis, stroke and TIA follow-up, dizziness and vertigo, and nerve entrapments such as carpal tunnel.
Do you perform surgery or injections?
No surgery, and no interventional pain programme — epidural and other spinal injections are not performed. Targeted nerve blocks are provided where clinically appropriate. Surgery is referred out with the electrodiagnostic findings attached.
Does testing happen in Henderson or do I get sent to Las Vegas?
In Henderson. The West Horizon Ridge Parkway office holds its own AANEM accreditation for electrodiagnostic testing and performs all six in-office studies. Nothing is referred across the valley for testing, so a Whitney address does not mean two separate journeys to two separate buildings. The ordering neurologist also interprets the study, which is what allows it to be extended during the appointment if an early finding raises a new question.
Is the Henderson office easy to reach off the Beltway?
It is in Highland Plaza on West Horizon Ridge Parkway, reached from the 215 Beltway rather than through surface streets across town. Parking is on site. If walking any distance from a parking space is difficult, say so when you book rather than on the day. The same applies to active vertigo, light sensitivity or fatigue that makes waiting hard — flagged in advance, the visit can be arranged around it.
