Frequently Asked Questions

Questions, answered

How many providers does CNS have?
CNS has five board-certified neurologists and four advanced practice providers. Together they diagnose and manage the full range of adult neurological conditions across the Las Vegas and Henderson offices.
Are the CNS neurologists board-certified?
Yes. All five neurologists are board-certified, and founder Leo Germin, M.D., FAANEM, is triple board-certified in Neurology, Vascular Neurology, and Neuromuscular Medicine. Advanced practice providers are certified by their respective national boards.
Will I always see a physician?
You may see a neurologist, a nurse practitioner, or a physician assistant depending on your needs. Advanced practice providers work in collaboration with the neurologists, and every patient is cared for by a highly trained provider.
Does CNS see children?
No. CNS cares for adults only and does not provide pediatric or surgical care. The team diagnoses and manages adult neurological conditions and will help point you elsewhere when a need falls outside that scope.
How do I request a specific provider?
When you request an appointment or call 702-804-1212, let our team know your preferred provider or office. New patients and physician referrals are welcome at both locations.

Emergency & crisis resources: Clinical Neurology Specialists is not an emergency service. For stroke symptoms, a seizure lasting more than five minutes or any medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
