Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of this website, and using the site means you accept them. They do not affect the care you receive as a patient. Nothing here is a substitute for evaluation by a clinician who has examined you, and nothing here is an emergency channel.

Using This Site

What the site is, and what it is not

This website is published by Clinical Neurology Specialists for general information about the practice and about adult neurological conditions and diagnostic studies. Using it does not create a clinician-patient relationship, and nothing on it is a substitute for evaluation, diagnosis or treatment by a qualified clinician who has examined you.

Do not use this site to communicate anything urgent. If you are experiencing sudden or severe symptoms — sudden weakness, difficulty speaking, vision loss, a headache peaking within seconds, a prolonged seizure, or a head injury with worsening drowsiness — call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not wait for a reply to a form.

Information here is provided in good faith and reviewed periodically, but medicine changes and errors are possible. We make no warranty that the content is complete, current or free from error, and clinical guidance published by professional bodies takes precedence over a summary on a web page.

Your Responsibilities

Four things we ask

Do not rely on this site for urgent care

Anything sudden belongs at an emergency department. Forms and email are not monitored as an emergency channel.

Do not send sensitive information through unsecured forms

Send only what a form asks for. If something is sensitive, call 702-804-1212 instead.

Use the site lawfully

Do not attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access, scrape it at scale, or misrepresent your identity when submitting information.

Respect the content

Text, images and page designs on this site are the property of the practice or its licensors, and are not for reuse without permission.

Other Terms

This site links to third-party resources, including professional bodies and public registries. Those links are provided because the sources are useful, not because we control them. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or availability of any external site, and a link is not an endorsement of everything that site contains.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the practice is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information on this site, from its unavailability, or from any error in it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may update these terms as the site changes; the version published here is the current one. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Questions about them can be directed to the practice using the contact details on the contact page.

Terms FAQs

Common questions

What these terms do and do not cover.

Does using this site make me a patient?
No. Using the site, reading its content or submitting a general enquiry does not create a clinician-patient relationship. That relationship begins when you are seen and evaluated by a clinician at the practice. Nothing on the site is a substitute for an examination by someone who has actually examined you.
Can I use the contact form for something urgent?
No. Forms and email are not monitored as an emergency channel. For anything sudden — sudden weakness, difficulty speaking, vision loss, a headache peaking within seconds, a prolonged seizure, or a head injury with worsening drowsiness — call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department rather than waiting for a reply.
Is the information here guaranteed to be current?
No. Content is published in good faith and reviewed periodically, but medicine changes and errors are possible, so we make no warranty of completeness or currency. Clinical guidance published by professional bodies takes precedence over any summary on a web page, and your own clinician's advice takes precedence over both.
Why do you link to outside websites?
Because the sources are useful — professional bodies, public registries and patient organisations. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability, and a link is not an endorsement of everything that site contains. External links open in a new tab.
Can I reuse content from this site?
Not without permission. Text, images and page designs are the property of the practice or its licensors. If you would like to reference or reproduce something — for a patient handout, for instance — ask, because permission is often straightforward and it avoids an avoidable problem.
Which law applies?
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. We may update them as the site changes, and the version published on this page is the current one. Questions about the terms can be directed to the practice using the details on the contact page.

Emergency & crisis resources: Clinical Neurology Specialists is not an emergency service. For stroke symptoms, a seizure lasting more than five minutes or any medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
